Just some of the many, many guises that the Canadian CMPs were adapted for during the war. As Churchill said, the CMPs military vehicles were the backbone of the Allied victory in Europe. I illustrated these not as technically accurate schematics, but rather as a record of a few of the many types of CMPs there were in use. I used available photo reference as my guide. A number of these illustrations represent field modifications and are not to as-built specs. If anyone has a photo or picture of any further unusual versions, I will add it to my series. I know that the Me109 on the 70 ton 10 wheel trailer is way overkill, but what the hell … maybe that’s all that was around in my imaginary army.
I am now working on the series of DODGE vehicles used by the Canadians and other Allied forces. Stay tuned.
